Filtration

  1. Check to see if air is bypassing the filter
  2. Check to see if the replacing the filter changes the airflow of the system
  3. Replace filter if it is affecting the airflow

Chemicals

  1. Properly dispose of any chemicals that have expired
  2. Properly dispose of any chemicals that you don't anticipate using before their expiration

Moisture

  1. Check underneath all sinks for drips
  2. Check around toilets for drips
  3. Check around the bath/shower for any moisture damage
  4. Check the ceiling for any moisture or staining
  5. Check the attic and crawl spaces for any moisture or staining
  6. Walk through the home and record any microbial odors

Ductwork

  1. Check to see if any ductwork is sweating with condensation
  2. Check to see if any supply diffusers are sweating with condensation
  3. Check to see if any ductwork is leaky

Exterior

  1. Check for any pooling of water at the foundation
  2. Clean the guttering system
  3. Check downspout extensions to ensure they are delivering water away from the foundation
  4. Note any water pooling at window sills
  5. Note any discoloration of the exterior cladding
